Music Workships, Concerts
Kevin planned, managed and was MC for the workshop and concert series held in Kalamunda for the following international and national artists:
- Dr Samantha Muir, classical guitarist and ukulele player from the UK in 2019 and 2023.
- Ukulele Russ from Alaska in 2019.
- Anu Grace in 2019.
These events "sold out".
Secretary Perth Hills Live Musicians' Association Inc. (PHLMA Inc.) Activities
As Secretary of PHLMA Inc. Kevin planned, laised with artists and recommended to the Committee regarding artist selection for the "Spring Live Music Festival" events held in 2022 and 2023. Kevin also was MC at both events. The 2023 event, in particular, was ambitious and featured a community orchestra, a flute ensemble, a choir, a "Youth Concert" as well as an "Emerging Artist" and a "Headline (rock/indie) Concert". For the 2023 event Kevin also designed and created a webpage for PHLMA Inc.
During 2021 - 2023 Kevin conceptualied and organised successful open mic sessions, "Jazz Jam" sessions, a vocal workshop, jazz guitar workshops, a woodwind improvisation workshop and assisted and appeared at regular PHLMA Inc. performances at the Kalamunda Farmers Market.
